Hmmmmmmm....

There was a time early on in my days where I could jump out of bed and greet the world with tremendous vigor. There was a time early on in my life where my memory was sharp and clear.

Now

I get out of bed gently, slowly and greet the world with “oh shit, my back”. My memory loss is apparent whenever I meet someone for the first time and they give me their name, only for me to forget it 10 seconds into the conversation.

Good Times……..good times.

It's called STRESS. You're still too young for it to be AGE.

When you're stressed, most of your mind is taken up with the stresses, so memories get pushed out the window. The worse your stress, the worse your memory.

And of course the tension it creates throughout your body will exaccerbate any aches and pains.

You're building up to a major midlife crises nicely. By the time you hit 40 you will explode or become so tense you won't be able to move anymore. either way your world will change.

Now if you ask me, and you didn't, but sod it I'm going to tell you anyway, if a big change is coming, you need to be the one who makes it happen on your terms. Otherwise it will be messy.

Now, upload some photos on Facebook , where you can also play me in scrabble. Or Othello. Or chess.

And see if you can touch your nose with your tongue.

And if you can't, get help from Amanda

Kim – Very enlightening but you make my brain hurt. And yes, Amanda does have that talent. Thanks for the birthday wishes oh’ wise one.

I really have no clue of facebook. I just joined so that I could see what you posted. Call me selfish.

Tara – We need to make an appointment up with Dr. Ayres so that he can further analyze our physical and apparently mental pain. We’re screwed.

Really enjoyed reading your blog. As your daughter Alistair grows older, she will teach you lessons everyday. She will help you see what matters most. These exceptional individuals are definitely a gift from above.

I am part of an organization called IDEAL-WAY.ca which was founded by a young man named Robert, born with Down syndrome. In 2 years, Robert has been the voice for his peers who cannot speak and the voice of hope. There is no doubt in my mind that Alistair has a wonderful and bright future ahead of her. Wishing you and your family a wonderful journey!
