Hello

Since it’s still “Down Syndrome Awareness Month” and I recently blogged about DS, I owe you a picture of my inspiration. This is Amanda, our 2 ½ year old daughter who plays little sister to James and Elizabeth.

Kim - I had to have it cleared by a higher authority. I'm glad too.

der/fri - Yes, the hair was obviously her mothers idea.

What a gorgeous little girl! You can just see the spunk in her! She looks like she's going to jump right off the screen and into my lap! What a beautiful sweet heart! Thank you for sharing her with us!!

TIC – She certainly is spunky and if she could, she would jump of the screen. She’s full of energy. My wife and I can’t figure at times where it comes from.

Jessica/Michelle – What is it with women and pigtails.

She’s a cutie pie.

She is so adorable! What wonderful smile. Pigtails spell FUN!

Jotcr2 – Yes, she has the ability to turn daddy in to mush.

Kathleen marie – Pigtails may spell fun, but they can also spell mischief.

Rebecca/Stella/Amy – She’s mine all mine. The one thing Robin and I do is make cute kids. Ok we might be a little biased but that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

One of the first rules of a good work/life balance is to make money doing something you're good at.

So all you have to do is figure out how to make money from producing cute kids and you've got it made :)

Kim - I have to wonder about you sometimes:)

I'll get to work

OH MY. She's such a doll! She looks so happy!

:)

leslieann - I would have to say that Amanda's an overall happy child unless you start playing with a toy that she wants.
If you're one of the unlucky ones she'll bring upon you the wrath of a thousand women:)

I don't know what it is about pigtails and little girls - they just have this cuteness factor!

She is absolutely gorgeous! You lucky fam. Thanks for the pic - I check out your blog quite often and it is great to be able to put a face to the name. If my Hannah bear needs glasses - I want ones like that!

I found your blog cause I was searching "movement to change the name of Down syndrome"! I have a 7 month old born with it and all ready I am tired of the name. It gives such a cloudy cover to children with it; when they are actually full of sunshine!
Any thought of how we could do this?
