I have created the “Down Syndrome Life” blog in the hopes of sharing a father’s everyday thoughts and experiences of raising a family of five children, one with Down Syndrome. My contributions will be of the good, the bad and the ugly.

WTG Amanda! I love the look of smile and accomplishment on her face the whole time! She looks older than 16 months - has that toddler look now :)
That is fantastic! Whoops and Cheers for Amanda.
I didn't hear the Hebrew name - there seems to be no sound on the veriosn playing on my laptop.
OK, I figured out what was wrong with the sound :)
OH WTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so exciting!!!!!!
HOORAY! I made Avery watch it over and over again because I hope he gets some inspiration...:)
Yay!!! That's awesome! WTG Amanda!
That is the happiest video clip I have seen in a long time. Amanda is Amazing! I am so impressed.

Congratulations! Isn't it amazing - I am constantly humbled by Hannah's spirit - her determination. It only gets better as they go faster!
Thanks All. We were and are still excited with this accomplishment. We're wondering what else she has up her sleave, although this will keep us content for weeks.
Cheers
Way to go!! What a huge milestone. She has such a beautiful smile. What a happy girl. She has such pretty hair too.

Yay!! She is so determined!! That's awesome.
Awe, what a sweetie you have there. Way to go Amanda.
Milestones just mean so much more when a person has to work a little harder.
Thanks for giving us a peek.

Amazing, adorable and well, congrats Amanda!
Woo hoo! What a great accomplishment.
That bought tears to my eyes. Although I am a softy since becoming a mum. Her bum hopping is cute, but I am sure you are over that stage, and delighted that she has made it onto walking.
Yahoo! That is inspiring! We just went through the same thing with Will, who just started to walk 99% of the time at the age of 2 3/4! I know how great a feeling it is. Now batten down the hatches!
thank you so much for sharing that. that was so incredible, def. brought some tears to my eyes ;) congratulations! we're close to that day ourselves (melissa, mommy of lily, 3 yo w/ d.s.) take care!
Mazel Tov Ahuva....that is just terrific....what determination you have.
HUGS!
I just came across your site browsing around some Down syndrome pages. My own daughter, Grace, has DS. She's 5 now, but it's amazing how similar Amanda looks to Grace at that age! My wife and I got shivers watching your video!
Keep up the great work with her!
Darren: You must have one beautiful 5 year old then.
