Dad's Early Morning Mush Session

There is something to fantastic to put into words but I’ll try. Most mornings, when I wake up and get ready to leave for the office, Little Peanut wakes up for her morning snack. Her eyes barely open, looking like she needs to hit the snooze button on the alarm clock a few more times. After she is finished eating she rolls her head towards me on my wife’s chest appearing to be content with her mission, and then it happens; the biggest, brightest, heartwarming, knee buckling, life calming, breathtaking smile you have ever seen. Those of you who have kids with special needs know exactly what I’m talking about. A few minutes later my other two children wake up and run into our room to give Little Peanut a hug and kiss.

These are the moments that keep my perspective on life focused and real.

I don't really understand how to access blogs but I am trying...yours looks really interesting and I will come back when I have more time to read more.

I too have a lovely young woman with DS...she is 25 and I see you have found Uno Mas....I post there from time to time but most of the kids are younger than mine.
