I have created the “Down Syndrome Life” blog in the hopes of sharing a father’s everyday thoughts and experiences of raising a family of five children, one with Down Syndrome. My contributions will be of the good, the bad and the ugly.

Wonderful video clip. We all watched, and it looked like a familiar scene around here. The only difference is we say downy-o rather than downzer. Ah, for the love of family comedy. So beautiful it is having a big family.
Oh that was such a great videos! Siblings having so much fun! Kayla kept asking, "ok?"
How much fun! I love videos!
I think the fun police are due a visit at your house.
I see you're training them up for WWF.
Happy New Year!
Oh this made me smile. There's nothing better than family, no? And it's the same at our house...Avery gives as good as he gets.
Eric's latest is manuevering to get right up in someone's face and then letting loose with a big wet raspberry.
Great video!
That was great...and they certainly were having a blast with each other!!!!
HUGS!
oh i loved that... nothing like brother and sisterly love!
Looks like the were laying the "smack down" on each other. Too funny. Great video & great fun! Happy New Year!!
Thanks all. It's a bit less time consuming at the moment to post video of my family than it is to actually sit down and write about them.
It's fun to watch them play together to the point of exhaustion. Sorry, no WWF or WWE or whatever they're calling it these days, not in my house.
I just came over to your blog from Big Blueberry Eyes's blog and I was cracking up watching your kids play. What a great video. You made my day. Incidentally, I used to live in Beaver Falls, Penn a looong time ago. Happy New Year.

Sara
Tara and Sara - Thanks. It's starting to get a bit interesting in my house now.
Hi there! I am so happy to come across your blog! I read your "open letter" and have written the practically the same exact words myself. Isn't it interesting how most parents with kids with DS have such similar experiences? I too, have a little angel/terror (2yrs old) with DS. He is a December 16th Baby also, and congratulations on your new arrival! Thank you for keeping up your blog, I too am keeping a blog for my son, for other parents to read. We have so much fun in our house, I thought it would be great for other parents to know how "typical" and fun it is to have a child with DS. I too felt like I was getting those "Condolences" in the hospital instead of Congratulations from the Staff! Best Wishes to You and your family. Noelle
