A Not So Quiet Lunch In The Park!

I needed to get the heck out of the office yesterday afternoon so I went to one of the local parks to spend some quiet time alone during lunch. The park was one of those state parks with all the different picnic areas with the cute names like Blue Spruce, Willow Cove and Maple Path. I found an area where there were no cars; it was just me, the birds, and the sounds of nature. It was going to be a nice peaceful lunch, until another car showed up. I really wanted to be away from everyone so I decided to find another spot. I did, and I parked. Not more than thirty seconds had gone by and the same guy showed up and parked on the other side of the lot. Ok, it’s a coincidence, so I thought. I moved again and the same thing happened. Alright, I thought, this is getting a little strange. I started the car put it in drive and found another lot, this time with 4-5 cars in it; I wanted to see if this guy was actually following me. I parked and he drove passed me, I lost him. NOOOOOOO, he made a U-turn and drove into my lot. This started to really concern me. Who was this guy? What did he want? So much for quiet hour. I left the park and proceeded down the hill where at the bottom was the borough police station. I decided to pull in and report the incident (I remembered to get the guy’s plate #). As I pulled in I noticed that the car that had been following me in the park sped passed as I made my left.

I filed a report and the officer smiled and said that there has been a lot of activity in the bathrooms at the park. WHAT! Activity like as in another lifestyle kind of activity? The officer nodded, yep. You mean this guy thought I was CUTE? Possibly he replied. I gave him the plate number, shook my head and left. I didn’t know whether I should be feeling upset or proud. There went my quiet lunch hour. I went back to the office and finished my day.

I decided that I don’t like being stalked, BY ANYONE.

My advice is take it as a compliment, but stop driving about in a pink car :)

Did you ever read my adventure with the hitchhiker (kimayres.blogspot.com/2005/07/hitcher.html)?

Stella - I managed to work out ROFL, but what does ROFLPIMP mean?

Cliff - didn't bstrong mention that the guy was bald and drove a BMW 6 Series?

Thank you all for your comments. I feel that I must clarify something here. I do not judge people and how they live thier lives. The act of being followed was just strange.

Cheers,
B
